Ladysmith & Area Community Link

is a pilot project funded by Community Living BC, Vancouver Foundation, Ladysmith Resources Center, and LSS to enhance inclusion of young adults and teens with developmental disabilities.

Community Link offers support, training, and job coaching to provide participants with increased inclusion in the community through integrated employment. The overall goal is to offer opportunities, so each individual can present and demonstrate his/her assets and skills to the community and become a valued and respected citizen.

Community Link strives to advocate and raise awareness for the value of diversity and the benefits of employment partnerships such as: enhanced productivity, stable and loyal workforce, increased cost effectiveness, improved bottom line.

A community that can take care of
its own people is a rich community.
