Paul Mycroft Design Devotes Valuable Time to the LDBA Success
Posted on Monday, October 26th, 2009
Paul Mycroft—owner of Paul Mycroft Design Ltd., professional web designer—has been a dedicated and active member of the Ladysmith Downtown Business Association (LDBA). Mycroft has made a significant contribution to the LDBA success through his time and energy spent on improving, maintaining and monitoring the LDBA website. The website boasts one of the most active in Ladysmith, with constant updating of information, including an increase in membership profiles, interesting articles and many exciting events hosted by the LDBA.
Mycroft is one of the many professionals who assist with the many LDBA successes. John Surtees, the LDBA President, with his leadership training and experience, is actively involved in many Ladysmith groups, constantly networking and looking for new strategies to increase member profiles and recognition. The executive team, Judy Newton, Laura Forrest, Tracey De Frane, Leslie Parent and Tina Fabbro, Leiette Lehtonen, and Kathy Holmes all play important rolls in the decision making, planning and implementation of events throughout the year.
But if it were not for the members, LDBA would not be in existence. The LDBA relies on the membership for support, such as assisting with decisions, volunteer assistance and funding for important events like Thursday Nite Live and Grand Christmas. It’s the members who support the LDBA and in return the LDBA supports its members by making sure that every marketing and advertising opportunity the LDBA invests in has to “Work for Downtown Business.”
So when you attend an event or visit this website, remember that this was the work of the LDBA as a whole, Paul Mycroft, LDBA President John Surtees, the Executive Team and the LDBA Members, each having a voice in the success of the Ladysmith Downtown Business Association.
Tracey De Frane
