The purpose and goal of the Ladysmith Downtown Business Association:
- Members actively working together to cultivate an environment of economic and cultural vibrancy in the downtown core.
- Providing a forum and voice to share information, resources, ideas, expertise and as a group petition local organizations and governments to help accomplish our goals.
- Promoting community values while ensuring that downtown Ladysmith is the focal point of civic, cultural and economic activity.
- Enhancing the heart of Ladysmith with special events and beautification projects.
The monthly meeting schedule:
- Executive/Marketing Committee: 1st Thursday @ 8:00am
Location: Printingdun Beanery coffee shop, B-341 1st Avenue, Ladysmith.
- General Membership: 3rd Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Location: Upstairs at the Royal Canadian Legion, 621 1st Ave. Ladysmith, BC.
