Bill Hutchinson and his crew moved his surveying business to Ladysmith from Nanaimo a year and a half ago. They are located in a little red and white house at 20 Warren Street, just off 1st Avenue.
Bill has been in the business of surveying land for 35 years receiving his British Columbia Land Surveyors Commission in 1974. As he grew up in Saltair he is very familiar with properties in the surrounding area.
Bill and his crew do many different kinds of surveys; as varied as locating property boundaries, providing a building location certificate for a new house, or certificate for an existing house for mortgage purposes, the division of property for a small family subdivision, all the way up to doing major subdivision and strata projects.
“My staff and I are really enjoying being based in the Town of Ladysmith – it’s good to be home!” Bill says.
